Operation Graduation...
The Woodlands High School, and The Woodlands College Park have teamed up this year to plan Operation Graduation 2008. Operation Graduation is an all night lock-in celebration for graduating seniors. It will be held on the night of each schools graduation at McCullough Junior High School.
Operation Graduation is a substance-free lock-in. Meaning all students who come are required to stay all night. This is to help ensure the safety of our graduating seniors. It is a proven fact that prom night and graduation night are the most deadly for teens. It has saved lives in our community and many others that participate.
The Past...
In the past Operation Graduation has done some very exciting things. With 20 years of accident-free extravaganza's, The Operation Graduation Committee is proud to announce that we are coming upon our 21th celebration. In previous years, parents and community members have been an essential part of operation graduation! We hope that this year you will volunteer your time and service to help make 2008 the best year yet.
The Present...
Totaling over 1,000 graduating students between College Park and The Woodlands High School(s), 2008 is a big year! Almost $100,000 dollars will be needed between the two schools. All of the money donated goes back to the students in some way. Whether it be gift cards, prizes, cash, or in entertainment. Operation Graduation is going high tech, with our first web site ever! It will provide many resources for the community and graduating seniors. Operation Graduation Online will be update frequently, so check for updates!
